Words That Heal, Words That Hurt

Ernie Brod, whose CMPS presentation, "What Our Words Reveal," was an Extension Division success, will further examine the impact of the unconscious on our words, and the effect of our words on others, as part of the 25th Anniversary Year series of Brooklyn Seminars in Modern Psychoanalysis.  On Sunday, January 24, Ernie will present, "Words That Heal, Words That Hurt," at 10:30 at 170 Rugby Road.  In looking at whether our words help us achieve our goals, or just gratify destructive impulses, Ernie will make use of Freudian slips, unintentional puns, and role playing.
